Lviv region: Lviv region rescuers signed a partnership agreement for the implementation of the project within the framework of the "Polish Aid" program

On September 14, a working meeting within the framework of the project "Regional Rescue Training Centers, Support of the Voluntary Fire Protection and Professional Rescue Service Training System in Ukraine" under the Polish Aid Program was held in the Main Department of the SES of Ukraine in Lviv region.
 
Representatives of the Main School of Fire Service, Rafal Matuszkiewicz and Rafal Antosik, visited the Main Department with a working visit .

During the meeting, the Head of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv Oblast signed a six-party partnership agreement, which provides for the continuation of the project "Regional Rescue Training Centers - support for the training system of additional vocational education and professional emergency services in Ukraine " within the Polish Assistance Program. The program is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
 
The participants of the program are the Main School of Fire Protection in Warsaw, the Republic of Poland, the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv region, Lviv State University of Life Safety, Cherkasy Institute of Fire Safety named after heroes of Chernobyl, the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine and the Higher Professional School of the Lviv State University of Life Safety.
 
According to the project, it is planned to establish training complexes for training young specialists, volunteers, cadets in educational institutions of the SES of Ukrainian, as well as improving the skills of rescuers.

As part of this project, Volodymyr Dubasyuk, Deputy Head of the Operational Coordination Center of the Main Department of the SES of Ukraine in Lviv Oblast, translated a textbook from Polish for Ukrainian rescuers entitled "Methods of operating with fire extinguishing jets".

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland positively assessed the initiative to translate the textbook and distribute it among Ukrainian fire and rescue units. Rescuers thanked for the work done and presented a set of personal protective equipment for firefighters, namely: heat-protective clothing, helmet, fire gloves and safety shoes.
