The session was attended by representatives of the consortium project from Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova, Belarus, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Ukraine, this project represents the Lviv State University of Life Safety. The conference was also attended by senior officers of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Humanitarian Missions and Civil Defense (Brussels).
During the session, organizational and logistical issues were discussed, as well as the scenario of training and safety of each participant was agreed.
In his speech, the Rector of the University, Professor Myroslav Koval, noted that these exercises are of great practical importance for both teaching officers and for every cadet and student of the University.
It will be recalled that the first part of EU-CHEM-REACT took place last year and was highly praised by European civil protection experts.
